Enterprise starts at $799 per Suricata instance per year. Custom development, a non-standard SLA or the AWS Network Firewall connector are quoted on top. Prices are in USD and exclude any local taxes.
Licensing is counted per Suricata instance, not per physical server. A host running five Suricata instances needs five licenses, whether those instances sit on one machine or five.
On Standard and Professional each host runs a single instance, so your instance count and your host count are the same number. Enterprise adds multiple instances per host, each with its own configuration, rules and service — and every instance counts toward the licensed total.

Four routes, depending on how your organisation purchases software.
Immediate and self-service. Choose Professional on the license form, set the number of instances and pay. Your license key is emailed to you as soon as the payment clears.
Buy Professional now →Tell us the organisation, the number of instances and the term, and we issue an invoice payable by bank transfer. License keys are issued once payment is received, or on agreement where your procurement rules require it.
Request an invoice →Send us your PO and we invoice against it, quoting your PO number on the invoice. Standard public-sector and framework terms are accepted — tell us which apply and we will confirm.
Send a purchase order →Need a document to take to procurement or attach to a tender? We issue formal written quotations, including multi-year terms with the annual price fixed for the duration.
Request a quotation →Licenses are annual. The validity period is embedded in the license key itself and runs on fixed dates that we set when the key is issued — it does not start when the software is downloaded or installed. If you need the term to begin on a particular date, tell us and we will issue the key accordingly.
You can buy several years in advance. On a multi-year purchase the annual price is fixed for the whole term, which is usually what a tender or framework agreement needs to see.
Prices are quoted in USD and exclude any local taxes, duties or withholding that apply in your country. Where your finance team needs us registered as a supplier before they can raise a payment, tell us what the process requires — supplier registration forms, tax residency or withholding declarations, banking details, insurance or compliance questionnaires — and we will complete and return them.
If there is a deadline attached to a tender or a framework submission, say so when you first write; paperwork is usually the slowest part of a purchase and the easiest to start early.
You are welcome to buy through a reseller, distributor or systems integrator, and many of our customers do. We issue quotations either in the reseller's name or directly in the end customer's, whichever the deal requires, and volume terms are available.
